COLD PHOTOS is a retro-styled horror adventure set in the snowy town of Glacier Falls, Alaska. Follow infamous detective Jake Bona and his rookie partner Joey Bailey as they hunt down the Snapshot Shooter - a serial killer who leaves strange photos to hint towards his next victim. You don't want to play his game.
This game was initially created in 7 days for the Brackeys Game Jam 2026.1
v0.1 of COLD PHOTOS introduces players to the Snapshot Shooter and the terror he brings to Glacier Falls. The rest of the story is in active development and will release later in 2026.
Controls:
WASD to move
G to toggle siren
H to use horn
C to exit vehicle and put away camera
F to interact
TAB to toggle camera, RMB to look through viewfinder, LMB to take photos of evidence

Such an exceptional game with decent mechanics and this was made for a game jam? - WOW!
I have do admit, I was a little biased before starting to play, because I deeply loved the previous game "911, What's Your Emergency". The tone of this might even darker compare to the first game, but I loved the addition of new mechanics, characters and the environment. I think overall, this might be the best project I've played from the "Brackeys Game Jam 2026" - trust me, I've played A LOT.
